Students will learn the basics of financing so their clients can get the best possible program. The following will also be discussed: pre-approvals, lending, closing costs, loans, and credit scores.

201 will also explore the 3 critical elements of negotiation through a series of group exercises. Designed to engage and enlighten participants, the exercises and corresponding class materials will demonstrate the difference between being a negotiator and a referee, provide students with insights in other negotiation styles as well as their own, and teach students to shift from a “position-based” negotiating system to an “interest-based” negotiation model.

The Code of Ethics portion will explore the foundation of the real estate practice and how to serve clients and customers within the law. Understanding the enforcement process at our disposal as members and the arbitration process for protecting entitled commissions will be explained.
