REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC)

Advancing Pro-REALTOR® Candidates Since 1969

For over 50 years, the Massachusetts REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) has supported and collaborated with lawmakers to advance legislation that positively impacts the real estate industry. From fundraising for campaigns to mobilizing voters to promoting laws, RPAC is a grassroots organization that empowers our members to be agents of change in the Commonwealth.

How RPAC Can Help You

  • We’ll show you how the legislation will impact your clients at the local, state, and national levels.
  • We lobby lawmakers to work on issues that affect property rights.
  • We work with various associations to support local campaigns that improve our communities.
  • We actively participate in state legislation to ensure your voice is heard.

Empowering Our Industry & Our Clients

Every investment we make, every campaign we support, we’re advancing our profession and the rights of real property owners. From promoting housing production to help ease the housing crisis to standing against the proliferation of real estate transfer taxes, we’re helping secure the future of our industry.

REALTOR® Independent Expenditure
Political Action Committee (RIEPAC)

In 2014, MAR created an Independent Expenditure (IE) Program as a new tool for political involvement. This program allows MAR to access funds from the National Association of REALTORS® to engage in IEs in contested state-level campaigns in Massachusetts. Independent Expenditures expressly advocate for the election of a candidate without any coordination with the candidate or the candidate’s campaign.

How Does RIEPAC Work?

  • With control over the organization’s affairs and funds, the Trustees of the Massachusetts RIEPAC carry out the group’s policies and activities.
  • MASS RIEPAC Trustees must acknowledge the legal, electoral, and political importance of maintaining the confidentiality of engagement in independent expenditures in support of candidates and agree not to disclose or discuss the same with any person whatsoever.

*Independent Expenditures expressly advocate for the election of a candidate without any coordination with the candidate or the candidate’s campaign.
