How do I renew my license?

Notifications are mailed to the address on file at the time of renewal and it contains your assigned record ID and authorization code. You can also find the authorization code here.

The Board Code is RE and the Type Class is S=Salesperson, B=Broker, and etc. The record ID is license number-board-type (#####-RE-S/B/RS/RB/AB/C/LC) For Example: 45321-RE-B

How do I request a new license?

Please be advised that the physical licenses can take up to 4-6 weeks to be printed, mailed, and received. If you need to request a new license, change your address, update other contact information, please see the instructions here.

How do I check the status of a license?

How do I reinstate a lapsed license?

If your Broker or Salespersons license has been expired for longer than two years, you must reinstate your license. Please fill out the form here and submit it electronically to the board.

If you are the broker of record of a business that has been expired for longer than two years, you must reinstate the business license. Please fill out the form here and submit it electronically to the board.

How do I submit an affiliation/termination notice?

If you are submitting an affiliation/termination notice, the Board has gone paperless for these submissions. They will not be processing paper requests. The affiliations must be completed on the ePLACE portal under amendments on the broker of records linked license. Click here for instructions.

You must use the complete record ID (license number-RE-S or license number-RE-RS) to complete.

What is the examination process?

All applications must now be submitted to PSI.  If you took the pre-licensure course from the present date (3/4/19) and have the old booklet, the school authorization page is still valid but you must send it in with everything else we now require. Even if you took the test previously and failed, you also must submit this application to sit again.

PSI does not submit incomplete applications to the board for review/approval.

What is the application process?

If you have submitted an application for an Attorney Broker, Reciprocal Broker, Reciprocal Sales, and/or Business application, please allow at least 30 business days for review and approval for completed applications. Please note that you are to upload any missing supporting documentation to your online application. Do not physically mail anything to the board.
