WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2020 – Greg Kiely, Vice President and Managing Broker of Sotheby’s International Realty’s Cape Cod Brokerages, has been elected Cape Cod & Islands Regional Representative for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) for 2020.
As regional representative for the Cape Cod region, Kiely will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors® (CCIAOR) and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance. He automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his election as a regional representative.
This is Kiely’s third term serving as Regional Representative of Cape Cod & Islands. He has been a member of the MAR Board of Directors since 2012, and most recently served on the Leadership Development Committee and Professional Standards Committee in 2019. Kiely was honored as the 2019 Massachusetts Realtor® of the Year at the Association’s annual awards in September.
On the local level, Kiely is the President of Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors® (CCIAOR) and Cape Cod & Islands Multiple Listing Service in 2020. He served as Treasurer and President-Elect in 2018 and 2019 and is a member of the Cape Cod Association’s Executive Committee. He is the CCIAOR 2019 Realtor® of the Year. Kiely served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors® from 2012 to 2015. Kiely has served on over 90 committees at the local, state and national Association level since 2011.
On the national level, Kiely will serve on the 2020 Membership Policy and Board Jurisdition Committee. In 2019, he served on the Resort and Second Home Real Estate Committee.
A Realtor® since 2005, Kiely is a graduate of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® and CCIAOR Leadership Academies.
