WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2020 – Kate Lanagan MacGregor, Rochester resident and broker associate and co-owner of BOLD Real Estate in Mattapoisett, will begin her second term as At-Large Director for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) for 2020. The event took place at The Devens Common Center in Devens, Mass., and included the installation of the MAR Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
As at-large director, Lanagan MacGregor will serve as a State Director and a voting member of the Executive Committee.
A MAR Director since 2012, Lanagan MacGregor was named the MAR 2018 Realtor® of the Year. She has served as a member of the Awards & Recognition Committee, Finance Committee, Education Committee, RPAC Board of Trustees, Professional Standards Committee, and the Realtors® Independent Expenditure Political Action Committee. In 2016 she chaired the Professional Development Committee and was a member of the Professional Standards Committee. Lanagan MacGregor is also a 2010 graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy.
On the local level, Lanagan MacGregor served as the 2018 President of the Realtor® Association of Southeastern Massachusetts. She also served as treasurer and chair of the Finance Committee as well as been a member of the Government Affairs, Membership, Professional Development, and Realtor® Political Action (RPAC) Committees.
On the national level, Lanagan MacGregor will serve her second term on the 2020 RPAC Participation Council. She previously served as a member of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Consumer Communications Committee and served four consecutive terms on the NAR Data Strategies Committee.
A Realtor® since 2002, MacGregor has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), e-PRO® (a technology certification provided by the National Association of Realtors®), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), and Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) designations.
