WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2020 – Dawn (Henry) Ruffini, Palmer resident and Realtor® with Keller Williams Realty Pioneer Valley in Longmeadow, was installed on December 17, 2019 as treasurer of the 25,000-member Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) for 2020. The event took place at The Devens Common Center in Devens, Mass., and included the installation of the MAR Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Ruffini’s term officially begins on January 1, 2020.
As treasurer, Ruffini is responsible for determining the Association's financial needs, investing the Association's reserved funds, and preparing monthly income and expense statements and an annual operating budget for association activities. She will serve as chairperson of the state Association's Finance Committee.
Prior to being elected treasurer, Ruffini served as MAR Western Region VP in 2016 and 2017. Ruffini was also a member of the Professional Standards, Leadership Development, and Finance Committees. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2015 and was a member of the Convention Planning Committee in 2014 and 2015.
On the local level, Ruffini served as President of the Realtor® Association of Pioneer Valley in 2015 and was named Realtor® of the Year in 2014.
At the national level, Ruffini will join the Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee in 2020. She became a member of the Member Communications Committee in 2019. In 2018, she served as a member of the RPAC Participation Council and in 2017, she was a member of the Strategic Thinking Advisory Committee. Previously, she was a member of the Data Strategies Committee in 2015 and 2016.
A Realtor® since 2001, Dawn has earned her e-PRO Internet Professional (EPRO) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.
