Rochester Broker Elected Southeast Region Vice President of Massachusetts Association of REALTORS

WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2013 – Kate Lanagan MacGregor, the broker-owner of Bold Moves Real Estate in Rochester, has been elected Southeast Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of  REALTORS® (MAR) for 2013. 

As vice president for the Southeast region, MacGregor will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Greater Fall River and Greater New Bedford Associations of REALTORS®, and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance.  She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election as a regional vice president.

An MAR Director, MacGregor has been a member of the Business Planning, Technology, and Strategic Planning Committees. She is a 2010 graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy.

On the local level, MacGregor is the 2013 President Elect for the Greater New Bedford Association of REALTORS®. She has also served as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee and on the Government Affairs, Membership, Professional Development, and REALTOR® Political Action (RPAC) Committees. 

A REALTOR® since 2002, MacGregor has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) professional real estate designation and her Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC). She is also the Director of Mercy Meals and More in New Bedford.
