WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2014 – Daniel Sullivan, broker-owner of the Sullivan Realty Group in Chelmsford, has been elected Northern Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2014. This is the second time he has been elected to the position.
As vice president for the Northern region, Sullivan will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Eastern Middlesex, Greater Newburyport, Northeast, and North Shore Associations of REALTORS® and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance. He automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his election as a regional vice president.
Sullivan is a long-time MAR Board of Directors member and most recently served on the Broker-Owner Subcommittee, Bylaws and Technology Committees. He served as the Northern Region Vice President in 2008. Sullivan is a graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy in 2006.
At the local level, Sullivan served as president of the Northeast Association of REALTORS® in 2008 and has served on the Board of Directors and several committees over the years. In 2008, Sullivan was named the Northeast Association of REALTORS®’s REALTOR® of The Year.
At the national level, Sullivan is a member of the Public Policy Coordinating Committee. Sullivan is also a graduate of the National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy.
Sullivan has earned his Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designations. He has earned his At Home with Diversity (AHWD) certification and is also a graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI).
