Falmouth Broker Elected Director-At-Large of Massachusetts Association of Realtors®

WALTHAM, Mass.
 – December 5, 2018 – Doug Azarian, a broker at Kinlin Grover Real Estate in Falmouth, will begin his second term as At-Large Director for the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) in 2019.  The installation took place at the Williams Inn in Williamstown, Mass. and included the installation of the MAR Board of Directors and Executive Committee.  

As director-at-large, Azarian will serve as a State Director and a voting member of the Executive Committee.  

This is Azarian’s second term as director-at-large at MAR.  He has been an MAR director since 1999 and served as the 2007 MAR President.  At the state level, he has been involved in several committees and groups over the years.  For the past two years, Azarian has served as the chairperson of the Investment Committee.  In 2018, he was also a member of the Strategic Planning Task Force, the Finance Committee, and the Building Task Force.  This year, he will serve on the Board of Directors as well as the Finance Committee and Building Task Force. 
 
On the local level, Azarian served as president of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors® in 2001.  He has been honored twice as the Cape Cod & Islands Realtor® of the Year Award, first in 2002, and again in 2003. 

On the national level, Azarian has served several terms as a Director of the National Association of Realtors® (NAR), beginning in 2006.  Since 2017, he has served on the Finance Committee. Azarian will serve again as a NAR Director and on the Reserves Investment Advisory Board in 2019. 

A Realtor® since 1987, Doug has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) professional designations.
