The Loss Mitigation Certification
The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS'® one-day certification course will teach REALTORS® how to work effectively with complicated transactions involving foreclosures, short sales, properties at auction or bank-owned (also known as real estate owned or REO). Local and state REALTOR® Associations may also license the course for delivery to their own members.

Linda Kody of Kody & Company will provide in-depth information as it specifically relates to the latest information on REO’s, short sales and foreclosures. Topic highlights include short sale duties, financing options and home inspection issues, along with foreclosure counseling, profit versus non-profit and risk/liability and REO property management and safety concerns.
