WALTHAM, Mass. – January 24, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that December 2012 home sales were up for the 18th straight month. Median prices also closed up for the third straight month of year-over-year increases. 2012 closed as the most active year for single-family home sales since 2005.

| Price difference between home heating fuels had various impacts on buyers and sellers
WALTHAM, Mass. – January 15, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that REALTORS® maintained their confidence in the overall real estate market in December and throughout 2012 according to the latest *REALTOR® Market Confidence Index (RMCI). The *REALTOR® Price Confidence Index (RPCI) also hit its all-time high in December. REALTOR®-members when asked also reported their buyer and seller clients have various opinions about the impact of price differences in home heating fuels (oil vs. nat. gas) when it came to buying and selling.

| December Pending Home Sales up Again to Close out the Year |

| Number of homes put under agreement in 2012 up over 2011
WALTHAM, Mass. – January 8, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that pending home sales for both single-family homes and condominiums went up for the 20th straight month in December compared to the year before. For the entire year, the number of single-family homes put under agreement in 2012 was up 25 percent over 2011. Pending sales figures (also called homes under agreement) are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months.

WALTHAM, Mass. – December 27, 2012 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that median sales prices for single-family homes were up for the second straight month in November. The number of homes and condominiums sold were also up again compared to the same time last year.
