| REALTOR® Market Index and Price Index both up in October |

month since April 2010
WALTHAM, Mass. – November 16, 2011 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) today announced that for the third straight month, REALTOR® members were more confident about the market in October 2011 compared to the same time last year according to the most recent REALTOR® Market Index. The October REALTOR® Price Index (RPI) was also up from October 2010. This is the first time that both indexes have been up in the same month since April 2010. When asked, a large percentage of members reported an increase in the activity of their under-30 buyer clients because of historically-low interest rates and more affordable home prices.

| WALTHAM, Mass. – November 2, 2011 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that the number of single-family homes put under agreement in October went UP for the sixth straight month compared to the same time in 2010. Condominium pending sales were down from October 2010.

WALTHAM, Mass. – October 25, 2011 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that September single-family home and condominium sales were up for the third straight month compared to the same time last year. Median prices for both property types were also up compared to the year before.
