| Biggest annual increase since final month of 2010 home buyer tax credit
WALTHAM, Mass. – May 14, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that more pending home sales were reported in the month of April than in any month since January 2004 when MAR began tracking this data. While not an all-time high, condominium pending sales hit their second highest point. Pending sales figures (also called homes under agreement) are a leading indicator of actual housing sales in Massachusetts for the following 2-3 months. |

| Massachusetts Sales Down and Prices Up as Number of Homes for Sale Continued to Fall in March |

| WALTHAM, Mass. – April 23, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that for the second straight month a shortage of homes to buy pushed the number of closed home sales down in March. Median home prices went up for the sixth straight month. Both sales and median prices of condominiums were up in March.

| Multiple-bid offers becoming more prevalent as
inventory decreases
WALTHAM, Mass. – April 18, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that both the REALTOR® Market Confidence Index (RMCI) and the REALTOR® Price Confidence Index (RPCI) hit all time highs in March. With the number of homes for sale declining, REALTOR®-members who responded to the survey said they are seeing an increase in multiple-bid offers, but that single-bid offers are still just as common.

| Massachusetts Home Prices Up as Low Inventory Pushes Sales Down in February |

| WALTHAM, Mass. – March 26, 2013 – The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) reported today that a lack of inventory pushed the number of closed home sales down in February after 19 months of increase. Median home prices were up for the fifth straight month. Unlike single-family sales, both condominium median prices and closed sales were up in February.
