WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2012 – George Chace, a broker at Millbrook Realty, has been elected Southern Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2012.
As vice president for the Southern region, Chace will coordinate association objectives and activities within the North Bristol County, Plymouth and South Shore and Tri-County Associations of REALTORS®, and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance. He automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his election as a regional vice president.
Chace has been a member of the MAR Board of Directors as either a Director or Alternate Director since 2006. He has also been a long-time member of the Professional Standards and Forms Content Committees.
At the local level, Chace was 2009 President of the North Bristol Association of REALTORS® (NBAR). He serves on NBAR Board of Directors, Education and Professional Standards Committees. In 2009, he was named the NBAR REALTOR® of the Year.
A REALTOR® since 1987, Chace has earned his Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) professional designation.
