WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2012 – Bert Beaulieu a REALTOR® at Northrup Associates, REALTORS® in Lynnfield, has been elected Northern Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2012. As vice president for the Northern region, Beaulieu will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Eastern Middlesex, Greater Newburyport, Northeast, and North Shore Associations of REALTORS® and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance. He automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his election as a regional vice president.
Beaulieu was the 2011 MAR Northern Region Trustee for the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC). He has been a member of the MAR Board of Directors since 2009 and has served on the Government Affairs Committee, the Retention/Recruitment Sub-committee, and the MAR Private Property Service Award Presidential Advisory Group. He was a 2011 graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy. At the local level, Beaulieu served as president of the North Shore Association of REALTORS® in 2010 and has served on the Board of Directors, Business Planning Finance, Government Affairs, Nominating, and RPAC Fundraising Committees. In 2011, Beaulieu was named the North Shore Association of REALTORS®’s REALTOR® of The Year.
A REALTOR® since 2004, Beaulieu has earned his Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), e-PRO, GREEN, and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designations. He has earned his Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) and is also a graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI).
