WALTHAM, Mass. – January 1, 2012 – Steven St. Arnault, a REALTOR® with Stone Ridge Properties in Newburyport, has been appointed vice president of government affairs for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) in 2012.
As vice president for government affairs, St. Arnault is responsible for coordinating the initiatives of the MAR Business Plan relative to public policy issues, grass-roots organizational efforts, and legislative and political action activities of the Association. In addition, he will act as a liaison between leadership and all work groups formed under the MAR government affairs umbrella. He automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his appointment as a focus area vice president.
St. Arnault has been a 3-year member of the MAR Government Affairs Committee and is a member of the MAR Board of Directors.
On the local level, St. Arnault has served as the Chair of the Government Affairs Committee for that past three years.
St. Arnault has been a REALTOR® since 2005.
