Were you aware that Massachusetts Association of Realtors is the “Ambassador Association” to Portugal? Please join us for a MAR International Council Program on April 7, 2010, where you will meet Paulo Cunha Alves, Consul General of Portugal in Boston. He will help us understand his country and its culture and business practices. You will learn about international outreach and business development activities that are designed to educate real estate professionals, and also about the environment for property transactions in Portugal.
The International Council’s Ana Portillo, who is also the National Association of Realtor’s Presidential Liaison to Portugal for 2010, will briefly describe her role and responsibilities as Presidential Liaison. She will outline the kinds of support available to individual realtors, including the role and activities of our counterpart organization in Portugal, the Portuguese Real Estate Professionals and Agents Association (APEMIP).
