The Massachusetts Association of Realtors® contains several councils and foundations aimed at increasing the personal and professional satisfaction of members. The MAR Charitable and Educational Foundation provides a vehicle for Realtors® to improve their local and national community through continuing education scholarships, housing and homeless assistance grants, and disaster relief grants. The MAR International Council was formed to provide services and benefits that include education, information, networking and marketing opportunities in order to meet the needs of the growing number of REALTORS® interested in becoming international real estate specialists. The Massachusetts Commercial-Investment Council, formed in 2005 to promote education and networking among commercial real estate practitioners, is open to Realtors® and non-Realtors® alike.
