The Massachusetts Real Estate Educator of the Year Award was first presented by MAR in 2003. Below is a list of award recipients.
2010
Jeffrey D. Chute, ABR, CBR, GREEN, GRI, SRES
Jeffrey Chute is a state-certified continuing education instructor in Massachusetts who designs, writes and teaches real estate course for the Plymouth & South Shore Association of REALTORS® (PASS), MAR and several local associations across the state. Courses he has written include GRI 202 module “Green Awareness in Housing” and recently created a three-hour course on “Marketing to Seniors” under contract to a large real estate office in Maine. Chute created and presented the “Green Webinar” for MAR’s monthly Webinar Wednesday series and he is also a REBAC certified instructor who has taught NAR’s GREEN Designation course. Currently Chute also teaches the 2-hour Code of Ethics portion of the PASS Orientation.
2009
Linda Kody, CBR, LMC, North Andover
A state-certified continuing education instructior, an instructor for the MAR Loss Mitigation Certification course since its inception in 2008, instructor for the Northeast Association of REALTORS®, instructor at the annual MAR Conference and Tradeshow, speaker at the Federal Reserve Bank's HOPE Now event in 2008, instructor on several courses on real estate at Northern Essex Community College and owner of Kody & Company in North Andover.
