PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

As the summer turns into fall, Massachusetts CRS® Chapter is heading into some exciting and busy times!

On September 21st and 22nd, we will be holding the CRS® 202, Sales Course, with instructor Rich Sands. This 2 unit course will be held at MAR Headquarters in Waltham, MA. We’re all very excited to have such a dynamic instructor for this significant topic. Won’t you join us as we give Rich a warm New England welcome for his first time teaching in Massachusetts?

On October 18th, we are teaming up with Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) at the MAR Convention to host a CRS®, 1-day/1 unit credit, Negotiating Course with Senior Instructor Ed Hatch. The MAR Convention, which will be spread out over 3 days, has reserved the first day for ‘all-day classes’ and we are proud and privileged they have chosen us to host one of these classes. For those registering by the early bird date, the class PLUS 2 days entry into the MAR Convention is only $190!

In addition to these CRS® courses offering CRS® credits, we also will be hosting a series of Master Mind Panels and Round Table Events which will include top producing agents from the New England area. These events, to be held in locations throughout the state, will allow agents the opportunity to attend a local event, as well as travel to an event outside of their area. The next of our Master Mind Panels are scheduled for October 12th at the Plymouth and South Shore Association of REALTORS® (PASS) in Pembroke and on October 14th at the North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (NCMAR) in Fitchburg, MA. Here’s a great chance to soak up the best practices/best ideas of top CRSs, enjoy networking, and think about future referrals.
 
We will begin some strictly Networking Events, again providing an opportunity to meet with fellow CRS designees and candidates for camaraderie and referral opportunities. The Networking Events will also be held in varying locations throughout the state--in either purely social venues or in businesses that have an eye toward REALTOR® interaction. Our first networking event will be held at Stone Technologies in Woburn where we will have a guided tour of what is possibly the finest granite company in our area, all-the-while enjoying appetizers, refreshments, and the company of our peers. We will also gather pertinent information from Stone Technologies about their referral program, which will benefit us and our clients, saving them money and, at the same time, beautifying their homes.

These Master Mind, Round Table, and Networking Events will be totally free for all Massachusetts’ Chapter CRS® Members and for a nominal charge you can bring along any REALTOR® guest. Our goal is to enhance your CRS® experience through education and networking and, as always, suggestions are eagerly accepted!
