Scholarship Information 

Scholarship Fund Size & Purpose
One of the Foundation’s primary programs is an educational scholarship fund, which annually provides financial support to persons pursuing a professional real estate designation or a degree program in real estate or another industry-related field of study.

This year, the MAR Charitable & Educational Foundation will award a limited number of $1,000 scholarships to qualified applicants who demonstrate financial need.

Eligibility
To be eligible to receive a scholarship from the Foundation, individuals must be a resident of Massachusetts pursuing a college-level educational degree program or professional designation in real estate or another industry-related field.

Applications are welcome from both MAR members and the public, however trustees of the Foundation, members of their immediate family, and relatives of the association president are ineligible to receive scholarship funds.

Application Process
To apply for a scholarship, individuals must complete the Foundation’s official one-page application form and submit it by August 1 to:

Following a review of all scholarship applications, selected applicants may be required to appear before the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee to complete a personal interview.

All applicants will be notified by mail of the Committee’s decisions regarding scholarship awards. Those chosen to receive scholarships will be presented with monetary grants from the MAR Charitable & Educational Foundation following students’ proof of course completion.
