Our Mission: Helping Others
The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Charitable & Educational Foundation performs a variety of community outreach initiatives that promote professionalism within the real estate industry and provide assistance to needy individuals and the community at-large. Since its inception in 1992, the Foundation has implemented several grant programs aimed at furthering the REALTOR® tradition of giving back to the local community.

Support the MAR C&E Foundation's scholarship, disaster relief grant, and housing and homeless grant programs.
Recognized as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, all donations to the MAR C&E Foundation are tax deductible for charitable gift purposes. |
Specifically, under the direction of its nine-member Board of Trustees, the Foundation operates an annual scholarship fund, provides disaster assistance relief grants to victims of natural disasters, and offers financial assistance to Massachusetts-based non-profit organizations that provide affordable housing, home buyer counseling, shelter and emergency care services to persons transitioning from temporary to permanent housing.
In addition, the Foundation makes charitable grants to 501 (c)(3) organizations which are formed for charitable, educational or scientific purposes where applicable.
Collectively, the Foundation has awarded more than $250,000 grants during its brief history.
