Profile of Massachusetts Home Buyers & Sellers 

MAR, in collaboration with National Association of REALTORS®, conducts an annual survey of home buyers and sellers, which details the preferences of local consumers in the home search and sale processes.  As part of this national study, the Massachusetts report offers a profile of the typical home buyer and seller in the Bay State, and extensive data on the personal decisions and market factors that characterize the home buying and selling experience for the state’s residents.  Important insights into the For Sale By Owner (FSBO) market also are included in this report.   The Massachusetts Home Buyer & Seller Profile reports will be produced annually as of 2003.
