Fraudulent Links In Email
If you are in doubt, do not click links in email.   If you get an email from your bank or PayPal that asks you to verify account information by clicking on a link, beware.  Put your cursor over the link and look at the web address that is displayed.  If the address does not include the domain of the company, it may be fraudulent.  Open a new browser and type in the correct URL to the company and log in to your account that way.

Insert A File In Word
If you have two word documents that you would like to merge, you don’t have to copy and paste, you can simply insert a file:

  1. Open your Word document.
  2. Place the cursor in the open document where you want to insert the second one.
  3. From the Insert menu, click Insert File. If you are using Word 2002, click File from the Insert menu.
  4. Locate the file that you want to insert into your document and click the Insert button

Who Owns The Number That Is On Your Caller Id?
With so many people using cell phones, it is hard to tell who’s who these days.  You can visit the website below to see if the number is indeed a mobile number and determine the location of where the account was originated.  For a fee, you can get more information such as the caller’s name and address at www.reversemobile.com.

Editing PowerPoint Charts
When editing a chart in PowerPoint, you may have trouble selecting the exact portion of the chart you want to change. Instead of clicking around, simply double-click on the chart to activate it, close the datasheet if necessary, and then use the Chart Objects dropdown list that now appears on your main toolbar. Select the chart element you want to work with from the dropdown list instead of trying to accurately click on it.
