The twenty-fourth annual Margaret C. Carlson REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill is scheduled for Tuesday June 9th, 2009 in the Great Hall at the State House.  A free continental breakfast will be served from 9:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. with the formal program to occur from 10:00 a.m.-11:00a.m. 

REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill is important for informing your State Senators and Representatives of the issues impacting the real estate profession and to advocate on behalf of consumers and homeowners.  There will be an issues briefing from MAR General Counsel and Director of Government Affairs Steve Ryan and an address from a keynote speaker.   The event is named for MAR’s first woman President, Margaret C. Carlson who was a leader in sparking REALTOR® political involvement.  

Many Local Associations have buses or carpool plans for the event so be sure to contact your Local Association to see if they are offering a convenient way to attend.
