MAR and MassHousing will cohost the “Future of Affordable Home Ownership in Massachusetts” on October 17, 2011 at the DCU Center in Worcester, a day prior to the MAR Conference & Tradeshow.
The one day event will focus on the key issues affecting home ownership in Massachusetts and the impact on real estate sales, construction activity, employment, and jobs, as well as possible socioeconomic and demographic trends. The event is open to principals, managers and senior staff of MAR member companies, the executive and senior staff of MassHousing lenders and the senior staff of the state’s of municipal government and non-profit counseling organizations.
General sessions planned include: Home Ownership in our Cities; The Economic Impact of Home Ownership Affordability; Home Ownership as a National and State Political Priority; and Home Finance Reform.
