Anne Meczywor, a broker at Roberts & Associates Realty in Lenox, has been elected Western Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2012. 

 

As vice president for the Western Region, Meczywor will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley, and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance.  She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election as a regional vice president.

 

An MAR director since 2009, Meczywor has served on the Government Affairs and Member Benefit Committees. She was also a member of the Retention/Recruitment Sub-committee. In 2011, Meczywor was a graduate of the MAR Leadership Academy.

 

On the local level, Meczywor served as President of the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS® in 2010. She has also served on the Government Affairs, Nominating, Personnel, and Professional Standards Committees. She was also a member of the Past Presidents Advisory Group and the Young Professionals Network. In 2010, she was name the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS®’s REALTOR® of the Year.

 

A REALTOR® since 2001, Meczywor has earned her At Home with Diversity (AHWD); Certified Buyer’s Representative (CBR); Resort and Second Home Specialist (RSPS); and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) professional designations.
