Corinne Fitzgerald of Northfield, Broker/Owner of Fitzgerald Real Estate in Greenfield, has been appointed Communications/Technology focus area vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® for 2010.

 

As vice president for Communications/Technology, Fitzgerald is responsible for coordinating the initiatives of the MAR Business Plan relative to the Association’s communications and technology programs.  In addition, she will act as a liaison between leadership and all MAR work groups formed for communications and/or technology programs.  She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of his appointment as a focus area vice president.

 

An MAR Director since 1999, Fitzgerald has been a member of the Executive Committee in various positions in 2003 and from 2005-2009. Most recently she was the Western Region Vice President in 2008 and 2009.  In 2008, Fitzgerald was named the Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award recipient.  In 2007 Fitzgerald was chair of the Business Development Committee and a member of the Professional Standards Committee. 

 

On the local level, Fitzgerald serves on the Board of Directors for the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV)2007 to present, was a member of the RAPV Professional Development Committee, and served as liaison to the RAPV Government Affairs Committee in 2007. Presently, she chairs the President Ambassadors PAG. In 2009, she was the RAPV REALTOR® of the Year. The Past President of the Franklin-Hampshire Counties Association of Realtors in 2000 and the Realtor or the Year in 2001.

 

At the national level, Fitzgerald was a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Housing Needs Committee in 2003 and 2004.

A  REALTOR® since 1986, Fitzgerald has earned her Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Leadership Training Graduate (LTG) Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) professional real estate designations.
