Tini Sawicki of Amherst, Broker/Owner of Prudential Sawicki Real Estate in Amherst, has been elected Western Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (MAR) for 2011.  Sawicki was the Western Region Vice President in 2010. 

As vice president for the Western Region, Sawicki will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley, and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance.  She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election as a regional vice president.

An MAR director since 1996, Sawicki has been on several committees including Chair of the Bylaws Committee, a member of the Executive Committee, the Online Education Work Group, Legal Affairs Committee, Government Affairs Committee, and the Mediation Committee.  In 2005, Sawicki was named the Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award recipient. 

On the local level, Sawicki served the REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV) as a member of the Finance Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Nominating Committee, and is a mediator. She also served twice as president and is a former director of the Franklin-Hampshire County Association of REALTORS®.  In 2003, Sawicki was named RAPV REALTOR® of the Year.

On the national level, Sawicki is a Federal Political Coordinator and a member of the Professional Standards Committee.

A REALTOR® since 1974, Sawicki has earned her Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and REALTOR® Institute (GRI) professional designations.
