Franz J. Forster is the 2009 President of the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS® (BCBR).  He has been a member of the BCBR Board of Directors since 1996 and is currently a member of the Finance, Government Affairs, Community Service, Nominating, Professional Standards, and Site Search committees.  Forster is an officer of the Berkshire County Multiple Listing Service and was its President in 2005.  He is also a member of the Education & Events, Contract and Forms Revisions, Multiple Listing, and Media & Communications Task Forces.  At the state level, Forster is a member of the Board of Directors and the Government Affairs, and Forms Content Advisory Committees.  He has also served as an Alternate BOD Member and was on the Professional Standards Committee from 2003-2005.  At the local level, Forster is an appointee to the Pittsfield Conservation Committee and the Treasurer of the Lakes and Ponds Association of Western Massachusetts.

James Crocker, Jr. is the 2010 Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS®, Inc and Cape Cod & Islands Multiple Listing Service, Inc. President-Elect. Crocker was CC&IAOR President in 2005 and 2006 and was the Board’s 2005 REALTOR® of the Year. At the state level, Crocker has been a Regional Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors. He has also served on the Professional Standards Committee and the Forms Content Advisory Committee.  Crocker is currently an Alternate on the MAR Board of Directors.  On the national level, Crocker has been a member of the NAR Board of Directors and is currently serving his third, two-year appointment by NAR as the only REALTOR® member to the US Green Building Council LEED Homes Committee.  He is very active in town government and is currently a Barnstable Town Councilor.

Richard Tisei is the 2009 President-Elect of the Eastern Middlesex Association of REALTORS® and Chair of Membership Services and a member of the Professional Standards Committee.  He has also served as Vice President in 2008, Secretary/Clerk in 2007 and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2007.  In 2007, Tisei was the recipient of the EMAR Dorothy M. Shea Award.  At the state level, Tisei has been a member of the Board of Directors and has been active in MAR’s government affairs activities.  As a 10-term State Senator and Senate Minority Leader, Tisei was 2008 keynote speaker at the annual REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill.

David Friedberg is the 2009 Immediate-Past President of the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS®, a GBAR Director and Chair of the Nominating Committee.  He’s been member of the GBAR Strategic Planning Committee, Business Development Committee, Professional Standards Committee, and has served as Vice Chair of the Education Committee.  At the state level, Friedberg has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2005 and currently serves on the MAR Business Development Committee.  He has also served on the Professional Standards Committee, Government Affairs Committee and has been an active participant in REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill.  In 2008, Friedberg was a member of the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors.

David Tierney has been an active member of the Greater Newburyport Association of REALTORS® (GNAR) for many years.  In the past he has served on the GNAR Board of Directors, the Professional Standards Committee and as GNAR Treasurer and Vice President.  At the state level, Tierney has been an active member in RPAC and acted as a moderator at several past MAR conferences.  In the community, Tierney has been President of the Newburyport Historical Society and a Trustee of the Institution for Savings.

Edie DeBalsi is the Chair of the Professional Development Committee and is serving her sixth straight year as a member of the Greater New Bedford Association of REALTORS® (GNBAR) Board of Directors.  She was also a member of the Programs Committee in 2007 and 2008.  At the state level, DeBalsi is a MAR Alternate Director.  She has been a participant in MAR’s REALTOR® Day on Beacon Hill, has attended the MAR Conference & Tradeshow, and has participated in the MAR/MassHousing Opportunity Knocks events.  Active in the community, DeBalsi has been involved in the Clean up New Bedford program and has been an instructor for the New Bedford Neighborhood First Buyer Seminar.

Dennis Page is the Immediate-Past President of the Northeast Association of REALTORS® (NEAR).  He is currently the Chair of the Media & PR Presidential Advisory Group and a member of the Executive, Political Involvement Committees, the Nominating Committee and the Website Revamp Task Force. Page has also served on the NEAR Finance Committee, Site Search Task Force, and Surround Sound Task Force.  At the state level, Page has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Government Affairs Committee.  He has also participated in MAR’s REALTOR Day on Beacon Hill.  At the national level, Page is the NAR Federal Political Coordinator for the Fifth Massachusetts District and has attended the NAR annual convention.  He is also a two-time Sterling R RPAC donor.
