 Jane Fine of Fine Properties in Shrewsbury has been named recipient of the MAR Milton H. Shaw Distinguished Service Award for 2010 at the Professional Awards and Recognition Dinner held October 18 during the MAR Conference & Tradeshow in Worcester.
First presented in 1984 in honor of longtime MAR CEO, the Milton H. Shaw, the Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to one REALTOR® member or staff executive who has demonstrated outstanding leadership abilities and volunteered countless hours of personal time to serve on state association committees and participate in MAR activities.
A Realtor for over 25 years, Fine is former MAR Central Regional Vice President and spent many years as member of the MAR Board of Directors. She is currently a member of the MAR Government Affairs Committee, a committee she has served a total of seven terms as a member. In recent years Fine has also served on the MAR Broker-Owner Manager Forum, Quality of Life PAG, Finance, Education and Events, Communications and Business Development.
Fine also is a past president of the former Commercial Investment Division of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and served on the Commercial Investment Council for a number of years. She was also involved in the Mass. Chapter of CRS and served two terms on the CRS Board of Directors and chaired its Strategic Planning Committee.
A longstanding active member of the Worcester Regional Association of Realtors, Fine is a past president of the association, served on countless committees and was named the 1992 Association REALTOR® of the Year.
Fine is a President’s Club RPAC contributor and has earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designations. |
