Laurie Wilkey of Fall River, a broker with Jack Conway & Company in South Dartmouth, has been elected Southeast Region vice president for the Massachusetts Association of  REALTORS® (MAR) for 2011.  This is the second consecutive term that Wilkey has served as Southeast Region vice president.  

As vice president for the Southeast region, Wilkey will coordinate association objectives and activities within the Greater Fall River and Greater New Bedford Associations of  REALTORS®, and meet regularly with local and regional leadership to discuss real estate industry issues of statewide importance.  She automatically becomes a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors as a result of her election as a regional vice president.

A MAR director since 2003, Wilkey has been a member of the Professional Standards Committee, Forms Content Advisory Committee, and the Quality of Life Presidential Advisory Group.    

On the local level, Wilkey was the 2009 president of the Greater New Bedford Association of REALTORS® (GrNBAR), and was named the GrNBAR Realtor® of the Year in 2007. 

A REALTOR® since 1995, Wilkey has earned the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM) professional real estate designations.
