As an active REALTOR® you may be wondering how you can continue to grow your business, expand your network and increase your bottom line all while giving something back to the profession and your community.
Recognizing the need to help REALTORS® answer these questions the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® launched the MAR Leadership Academy in 2005. The overwhelmingly positive feedback MAR received from the inaugural class led MAR to expand the program in 2006. If you have only just begun to tap into your leadership potential, MAR wants to help you learn how to become a leader in business, your personal life and the REALTOR® organization.
The
MAR
LEADERSHIP
ACADEMY is a powerful and rewarding learning experience designed to develop leadership and life skills that benefit your business! The program combines individual study, group sessions, team-building, goal setting, personal profile analyses and more. This year-long learning experience is designed to train, nurture and inspire tomorrow’s leaders. Do you have what it takes to be a leader?
Your experience at the MAR Leadership Academy Leadership Academy will give you an in-depth behind the scenes look at how the REALTOR® organization operates. Many of the same principles that guide the staff and leadership of this 1,000,000+ member organization can be applied to how you run your business and make decisions that impact your every day life. Graduates of the MAR Leadership Academy Leadership Academy will have the tools to guide their businesses and the REALTOR® organization through the 21st Century.
Applications for the
MAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY LEADERSHIP
ACADEMY are invited from interested Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® members.
A maximum of 15 individuals will be selected to participate in the 2007 program.
Since the number of participants is limited, applicants who are not selected may reapply in subsequent years.
Commitment includes the completion of the 2007
MAR
Leadership
Academy application.
Tuition for the program is $725
– an all-inclusive fee – (
includes all training sessions, all meals, all overnight accommodations and instructional materials for the entire year’s sessions.)
Additional costs to the participants will include transportation to and from the meeting site, and minimal expenses which may be incurred during the field exercise phase of the program.
The deadline for application submission is December 31, 2006.
The
MAR LEADERSHIP ACADEMY LEADERSHIP
ACADEMY Selection Committee will
include corporate and private sector leadership experts, as well as past and current leaders of the REALTOR® organization.
The Selection Committee will review applications and interview prospective participants.
Interviews will be conducted during the month of January 2007; all applicants will be notified of their selection status by January 31
st; tuition payment-in-full is due by February 28, 2007.
